Not To Be Judgmental

But if it is 10:45 Friday night, and you're taking a 15 month-old into a movie theatre, maybe don't do that.

Also. . .

Please either skate at the skating rink, or compose a long text message on your iPhone. Please do not both skate and compose a long text message at the same time.

If I had the power to issue citations, these are tickets I would have given out recently. In the interest of public wellbeing and safety.

Have a great weekend and let's be careful out there.

Oh man! I HEAR you on the movie thing. What are people thinking?

And though I've been known to text msg at inappropriate times, I've never tried it while roller skating. Eek!

You are one I would wholeheartedly trust to issue citations for such things. Can we deputize you?

Whoooooooa. Roller skating and texting? Talk about clash of the decades.

Enjoy your weekend also; I hope you have a lovely Mother's Day! =)

HA! Awesome. We had a customer stop in our office this week who said that he had something really important to talk to us about. He said he'd received his annual questionnaire in the mail, but he was simply too lazy to fill it out. What should he do?
We told him to fill it out.
We figure he drove approximately 20 miles to have this conversation too.
Honest to Pete, what is wrong with people?!
Write 'em up, Becky!

Why the hell do people take kids out that late? I was in Walmart at midnight last weekend (sans kids, I was in PA) and there were people walking in with a two year old. What the hell. At least they weren't texting while they walked in, they were yelling at the kid instead. You know, since he threw a tantrum for being up at midnight. Totally his fault.

I get worn out if my kids are up until 9:30! But hey, at least they didn't leave the kid home alone. :)

That is cute what Cassie wrote about clash of the decades. I have seen teens reading email while roller skating at rink and I thought that was daring. Just looking at my cell phone at same time was daring. And I totally judge about the late night movie attendance. Was it rated R? Or Pg-13 on verge of R? That would be a double scoop of judgment. Hope you had a good Mother's Day.

I hereby appoint you Captain of the Mom Police. Because you're rational, balanced and . . . not the type to abuse it. Start issuing NOW!

Good God. The only movie theater I EVER took a kid that age into was the $1 kids and moms afternoon summer movie. And even then we left early once she got antsy.
I hate seeing a little kid out in ANY public place at that hour, and they're usually crying. Gee, I wonder why?

Good grief - that is so sad about the movie!! And the skating - well, someone's going to have to learn the hard way about that one, I suspect...

Hope you had a marvelous weekend!!!
