What's on with you?

I love your pie charts! Lately I spend about a third of my time either thinking about eating a snack or eating a snack, a third of my time wondering if I just felt the baby move or if that was just gas, and about a third of my time sleeping.

Why does your fruit need to be dealt with? Mine just sits there, generally. Being fruit.

We got nothin' on for the summer. We're going to Vancouver in a few weeks, so I'm spending an inordinate amount of time stressing about whether we'll be able to relax.

Keely, just the peaches alone are a part time job. First there's the selecting them in the store, then the washing, then the monitoring of child fruit eating/messiness, then the deciding whether to put them in the fridge to slow spoilage, then more child eating, then the conversion of leftovers into cobbler. I am exhausted and we haven't even talked about berries yet.

Vancouver is lovely in summer I bet! I think if you stress enough now, you'll definitely be able to relax then!

Oh, I've got a major time commitment in with the produce too. Totally with you there. Between picking, washing, spinning dry, chopping, dicing, slicing, sauteing... this omnivore stuff is rough. But I'd have to say well north of 85% of my time in summer is dedicated to care of the floors: sweep, vacuum, mop.

It's enough to drive a girl to drink. Mimosa, anyone?

I can see the fruit deal that's why I buy very little fruit.

I love when you do this. I may need to try it out. Unfortunately, mine will focus mainly on picking the right wine and my 24/7 dinner plans. I'm a tad food driven.

Oh, hooray! A pie chart! One of my favorite SubMat features... I was just thinking you were overdue for one of those.

My pie, as of late:
25%- making choo-choo train noises
25%- drinking coffee
25%- reheating coffee
25%-being interrupted while trying to reheat or drink coffee with a request for more choo-choo train noises

looking for swim suits - drying swim suits, trying to find new and inventive ways of not putting on damp bathing suits w/o using the dryer

I'm feeling like maybe I'm missing out in the dealing with fruit department. I'm pretty sure that I only spent about .15% of my time with fruit. Slightly more time than I spend on dusting, and much less than I spend plucking gray hairs. Maybe we should be eating more fruit! Oh no, something else to worry about.

lol "Be Sweet" I remember that! I think now we're doing "Hey, be nice" in the exact same tone.
As always, satisfying pie.
