Today I did the following things for the first time in a month:
1. Put on a bra. I know that may seem amazing, but really I just haven't wanted any part of the bra situation.
2. Put on eye makeup.
The thing is, apparently it takes one month for me to forget how to apply eye makeup. Over thirty years to finally learn and then one month to forget. I had to settle for a drowsy raccoon look.
I had not forgotten about the bra.

Good God, how has it been a month already?? You probably don't feel that way, I know it's been a lot to handle in a short period of time. I am so glad that everything is going so well so far. I hope that it continues and we have all good news from here on out. You Rock, Becky, you have been amazing so far and I have no doubt that will continue.
Becky, you are such an inspiration. You have handled this situation with such grace and determination that I remain in awe. Blessings to you, Matt, and kiddos!
Was it that beautiful Liberty one that you showed me? I cannot believe it has already been a month. You are such a strong, beautiful woman and I am so proud of how you have handled all the stress of the last few months.
PS- Linc said it's like a family compound over there! Sounds like they're keeping you busy and having lots of fun! If you're up for even more company, let's get together this week!
It's the small victories that are the most enjoyed.
You put on a bra? Yay, you!
Happy 1 month anniversary of having that *&$#%@! cancer outta your body!! Woo-hoo!
Whoops, that was me, posting from Patrick's junkmail account, somehow.
Eye makeup? Meh. You don't need it.
Wow, a month already!? Crazy! I've still not mastered eye make up. It's all I can do to apply mascara without stabbing myself in the eye.
The bra? Meh. Stupid contraptions. Good for you!!
Hi! Discovered you from ABDPBT. Love your blog. Coincidentally I have a friend just starting down what looks like a similar road with breast cancer as you and you guys have a lot in common so I sent her your link. I especially want her to know about the vest trick. You are so funny and witty and a terrific writer. I am looking forward to catching up on all of your past posts.
I can't believe it's been a month! I want to see a photo of this raccoon look.
You mean you weren't wearing make up in that photo of you on the couch in JC Penny? You are flawless, woman. Flawless
Hello Becky...Just happened upon your site a few days ago (sent you and email). Today my first time to post on a blog of any kind! (Took me those last couple of days to get up the nerve.) Just had to tell you that I have read all of your posts and think you are truly terrific! An inspiration to everyone. You need to publish!!! You and your family are in our prayers.
Jenni, flattery will get you everywhere.
Claire, thanks so much for this sweet comment! And thanks for the kind words. I am looking for an email from you but maybe it didn't get through. Oops. Please stick around!
Just a follow up... sent the email to the address listed under "Email" when you click on your picture. It maybe for the best! It was very long, blah, blah, blah... too much caffeine that day! Look forward to your future reflections. C.
How could it have already been a month? That's crazy. Also, I don't know from eye makeup but that there's a line between good and goth, and I can't be trusted to figure out where that line is.
I ignore my bra and eye make-up most weekends.
I hope you are still feeling no nausea and are having a good time with family!
A month, for reals? Like so much dust in the wind. Good deal.
What is this eye makeup you speak of?
Hi, beautiful! My best eye-makeup tip is put on tomorrow's eyeliner tonight, but I am grimy like that. Tidier people might like to put it on the same day and then knuckle themselves in the eyelids like they need a nap, although tidy ladies probably do not want my slutty, comic-book, bedhead-eyeliner look anyhow.
