It's new to these shores though, I'm pretty certain; not so long ago our shops really only had two sales a year - the big one in January and a smaller one in the summer.Ninahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11434203006496814327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6328138894440374230.post-6076327716714084572012-11-25T01:34:07.939-05:002012-11-25T01:34:07.939-05:00Def a pre-Christmas thing. Vintage linens are a huge trigger for me, because they're one thing where you can't buy as nice new anymore.Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06517252487552392654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6328138894440374230.post-89456257338070639912012-11-25T01:07:20.991-05:002012-11-25T01:07:20.991-05:00I also rifled through vintage linens today, in a t...I also rifled through vintage linens today, in a tiny shop that has unfortunately (for my bank balance) opened at the end of my street. And I also had a failure of restraint and got some 'Black Friday' deals online that my grandmother will have to try and fit in her suitcase to bring across the Atlantic for me next month. Tell me, is Black Friday connected to Thanksgiving, or just to the end of November (maybe a pre-Christmas thing)? Some British shops have had BF sales this year and obviously we don't do Thanksgiving.Ninahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11434203006496814327noreply@blogger.com
